This week on No Restraints with Rudy Caseres my guest is Ashley Kirsner. Ashley Kirsner is the founder and director of Skip the Small Talk and believes in the efficacy of high-quality person-to-person interaction for improving psychological health. Ashley gained hands-on therapeutic experience as a suicide hotline phone responder and as a peer counselor at Cornell University. Ashley received her B.A. in Psychology from Cornell University and turned down acceptances to doctorate programs in order devote her time to Skip the Small Talk. I had the pleasure of interviewing Ashley in-person inside the halls of Harvard University so that was fun. We even engaged in a modified version of Skip The Small Talk which we both really got in to. These in-person and on-location interviews are always a treat.
